According to web rummors, Apple migh be adding integration to the popular iApp. As posted in MacTelChat, the latest version of the photo cataloging application includes over 70 references to GPS attributes, including a call to “GPSMapURL,” which passes attributes to Google’s online mapping service. It is still not clear if this feature will be ready to use in Leopard or with a new update to Mac OS 10.4.8
Some times non- English localizations can take up to 2GB of precious HD space. To get rid of them follow this tip carefully, all your non-English localizations will be gone forever(or until you re-install all your system again).
Open terminal: copy and paste this: sudo find / \( -name *.lproj -and \! \( -name English.lproj -or -name en.lproj \) \) -exec rm -rf \{\} \; and hit RETURN.

Recently I had a very hard time trying to help my friend with his mac. His machine is behind a router and port forwarding was a “different language” for him. To avoid the hassle I tried to do a reverse tunneling from the Terminal but that brought frustrations and loss of time…
Fortunately there are geniuses on the net like Mark Lentczner that developed Reverse Connection VNC client & servers
This will save you a lot of pain if you want to connect trough Firewalls, if your friend does not know which is his/her IP and many other obstacles that come involved in remote sessions. Follow the next steps and you will be doing reverse connects in no time:
1. If YOU are behind a router forward the port 5500 to your computer.
2. Download Mark Lentczner’s version of Chicken of the VNC (make sure you download the “built app&rdquo![]()
3. Unzip Chicken of the VNC to your Desktop
4. Double click Chicken of the VNC
5. Click Connection > Open Listener… > Start. Screenshot
6. Now again in you Mac Download Mark Lentczner’s version of OSXvnc (make sure you download the “built app&rdquo![]()
7. Send OSXvnc to HIM/HER
8. Have HIM/HER click “Connect to Client”, enter your IP address in the “Host” box, and click “Start Server”. Screenshot
9. Voila! Now you will be able to control HIS/HER machine from your own. “Stop Server” when finished.
